Where to find us

Nestled in a strip of land in the centre of a Mediterranean peninsula, Sestri Levante encloses the Tigullio Gulf and offers the most typical Ligurian landscape. Also known as “the city of the two seas” (La città dei due mari) because of its shape, with the historical centre unfolded in a peninsula separating two gulfs.

The eastern one, Baia del Silenzio, above which the coloured historical houses are perched, and the western one, Baia delle Favole, named by Hans Christian Andersen, to whom a literary contest is dedicated every year.

Sestri Levante has so much to offer, from the Romanesque church of San Nicolò, to the city centre, full of fifteen-century palaces with typical slate gates. From the Rizzi Art Gallery, hosting precious paintings from the 17th and 18th centuries, to the perfectly preserved villas
