Silent Wines is an event created by FISAR (the Italian Sommeliers, Hotel Managers and Restaurant Owners Federation) in collaboration with Accademia dei Sapori.

The second edition, Silent Wines, in 2017, hosted more than sixty exhibitors (twice as many as the first one, that was a great success) in two days. The aim was to create a connection between two territories with similar history but different traditions, in a spectacular frame such as Baia del Silenzio, from which the event’s title was inspired.

Producers, experts and consumers, properly equipped with wine glasses, sharing and tasting excellent products coming from wine-producing firms from Liguria and North West of Italy. Details and description of the products are explained by the experts.

The event combines oenological products with typical food like focaccia al formaggio, fried anchovies, cheese and cold cuts, fruit jams and craft beers. The qualified sommeliers are available to provide more details on wine-paring.
